Project Overview
Having raised over $1 billion in capital funding for clients by January 2022, the Emerging Africa Group found itself in need of a website redesign. As a major financial group in Africa, their website had to showcase their evolution and how they help African businesses and communities grow through environmental, social, and governance-led financial and investing solutions, leveraging talent, innovation, and growth.

The Problem
Emerging Africa faced two primary challenges: the need for a new and modern website to showcase their growth and status as a leading African financial institution, and the need to efficiently organise the information related to their subsidiaries.

The Crevtus Way
We began by putting ourselves in the shoes of our clients and their audience. We had conversations with stakeholders and did research to fully understand the African financial services industry. In this phase, we discovered the importance of segmenting Emerging Africa's audience, enabling us to develop a streamlined website structure for easy access to subsidiary information with clear communication channels and a contemporary UI design for seamless functionality across all devices.

The Craft
Optimising Information Architecture
To serve Emerging Africa’s multiple audiences, we reorganised the information architecture in an intuitive manner by creating subsidiary pages that can be accessed from any part of the website.
Additionally, we implemented a custom content management system to enable all subsidiaries to update their information without requiring technical expertise.
Finally, we established a centralised newsroom, serving as the hub for all information, including news and press releases, related to Emerging Africa.
Easy Navigation
To ensure easy navigation, we crafted a distinctive full-screen menu that reduces confusion while navigating. Additionally, we added internal navigation links so people could easily move around from any page on the website.
Brand Identity Expansion
We created custom icons and other visual elements to supplement their brand identity. This was also combined with original photosets of the leadership by the team.

The new website showcased their leadership in the financial sector and improved access to subsidiary information, enhancing engagement.
